green cleanersLiberty village is full of busy professionals like yourself. You don’t have time to press your shirts, hand wash your favourite dress or even scrub your Uggs (you still wear those?).

That’s why you are looking for the best dry cleaner options in or near Liberty Village. Here are our top picks:

King West Village Cleaners (1000 King St W, ground floor). Fine, not technically Liberty Village but certainly close enough – this is one our favourite spots for dry cleaning, washing and alterations.  Wayne, the gentleman who runs the shop, has the uncanny ability to know your name forever after just one visit. Not only does he know your name but he knows about everything that goes on in the neighbourhood. They send their cleaning out but do a great with everything. One of the best around.

Green Cleaners (80 Western Battery Rd). This friendly couple will always greet you with a smile and do their utmost to rid your clothes of those pig-headed stains. Alterations are also done on the premises and prices are reasonable.

Spotless Drycleaners (75 Hanna Ave) Located next to Harvey’s in the Liberty Village plaza, this dry cleaner is one of 32 located across the GTA. The do a great job with all types of clothes. Whether you need shirts pressed, delicates dry cleaned or items altered, they are a great choice.

Green Cleaners has very much changed since this article was written in 2013. Now, good service will depends on when you are going. If you go in the morning and deal with Karen, the manager, you will have a wonderful service. She will listen to you, and make you want to come back. But if you go in the afternoon, you will deal with Sarah, who is a new employee who started early 2015, and she is absolutely awful, rude and simply dismiss you while almost yelling at you. She actually also lies openly to customers. As I was bringing 2 pair of pants, a pick-up earlier than 3 days would be considered RUSH and charged 20% extra. Problem is, I checked with a manager who confirmed that it was not true. Mentioning this to Sarah, she just dismissed it and simply stopped listen to me as I was trying to explain. The worst service EVER! I have been using their service for more than 3 years and have had a pretty good service/very good service all that time. But now, considering finding another place.
