Lock Up Your Love

Don’t lose your keys with a Liberty Village key chain created by Smitten Kitten. Bonus is that the studio is located right here in the neighbourhood at 51 Jefferson Ave, just south of Liberty St. The green retro inspired key chain with Liberty Village imprinted on it is just one of over 30 neighbourhoods represented in the collection. Snag one for yourself and maybe even a pal online or swing by the store.

Liberty Village Beer does exist. It is brewed within Toronto and is named after our amazing neighborhood. Liberty Village Brewing Company offers a couple of different brews including the 504, the Gosebuster and the Black Buster. The 504 Pale Ale is described on the official websites as, “…an American-style pale ale brewed and heavily dry hopped with Citra and Czech Saas hops”. It is served on tap at The Craft Brasserie. It can also be purchased for at home enjoyment from select LCBO stores upon availability.

Carry it Around

Remember the LVBIA Welcome Totes from last spring? They were delivered to the resident door handles with lots of goodies and promotional offers inside from over 30 participating companies. The tote bags are reusable and can often be seen around the neighborhood. Stay tuned for details on this exciting initiative for 2017.

Wear it on Your Noggin

Toronto based apparel company, Tuck Shop Co. has created a line of toques with many of the city’s neighborhoods written on them in their City of Neighborhoods collection. They are a perfect way to show everyone how much you love Liberty Village during the winter months. Liberty Village is represented in a red and white version topped off with a pompom. To get your hat, visit Tuck Shop Co. online or stop by select stores such as Spacing, Northwood General Store or Spruce.
