The coffee wars in Liberty Village are heating up with yet another mighty addition to the already competitive Liberty Village coffee landscape.
Tim Hortons is now open on the west-side of the Liberty Market Building where the Danceology Studio used to be. Open 24/7 this location will also house Tim’s ever-present partner, Cold Stone Creamery, who sell ice cream, smoothies, shakes and cakes.
The addition of Tim Horton’s has been met by cheers and jeers with some saying that Tim Horton’s coming to Liberty Village simply adds to the increasing “suburbanization” of Liberty Village while fans welcome a more budget-friendly option than the neighbouring coffee houses.
Either way, we think Tim’s will do well and hopefully won’t take too much business away from its coffee neighbours.
