This year, St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Friday. It is the perfect day of the week to duck out early and get a head start on celebrating! Many of the Liberty Village brewpubs and restaurants will have activities and festivities to help everyone feel Irish for a day.
New to the neighbourhood since the fall of 2016, 3 Brewers is ready to welcome everyone for this occasion. Beginning on March 15th and available until April 18th, they have an Irish beer called Maple Stout. According to their flyer, it is, “a perfect marriage between Irish and Canadian traditions. This stout with Maple notes warms the hearts and awakens the taste buds. It makes the arrival of spring with delight.” Visit them online, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Happy Hour specials will be in effect from 3pm-6pm. Visit Local online, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
ITouting the words “Irish Pub” on the side of the 3 story building, make this a hot spot on St. Patrick’s day. Live music will be playing throughout the day and evening on each floor at Brazenhead. Acts include Lindsay Brohan, Boom! Duo, and Red Velvet. Their campaign, “We’re Going Full Irish” is a 5 day event starting March 14th and wrapping up on March 19th. Enjoy the specials on Guiness pints and Bailey’s and Bushmills drinks. Visit Brazenhead online, on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Is it wishful thinking to hope Mother Nature plays nice and will grants us some patio weather for this Irish celebration? However you enjoy, please be responsible, safe and may the Irish lucky charm be with you!
