Why Staging Matters When Selling A Condo

[photo 2402384] Living RoomCondo staging has created a lot of buzz in recent years. It essentially refers to the preparation of a condo or house for sale and usually involves an aesthetic makeover so that potential buyers fall madly and deeply in love with your condo.

Staging most-often includes de-cluttering, de-personalizing and furnishing. Stagers will highlight the features of the unit and distract from any ‘not so desirable’ features.

Often times buyers need to be shown how they can use the space, and this is especially the case in smaller condos, condos with unique layouts and vacant condos.

Heikki and I believe that Staging is up there with professional photography and pricing as some of the most important factors in getting a property sold faster and for more money.

Statistics have shown that Staged condos sell 2–3 times faster and for up to 6% more than un-staged ones.  Buyers perceive stagedLiving Room 1 units that are well presented as being worth more.

Many sellers have considered Staging as an option but are uncomfortable with the upfront costs involved. Here is the best part!

Michael Camber offers our Liberty Village condo clients FREE STAGING. You will not pay extra for this part of our service as it is included in my (already very reasonable) commission. That includes furniture, art and decorative items. I offer this as part of my listing service. Plus you enjoy all of the proven benefits of a well-presented condo (a faster and more profitable sale).

Liberty Village is stacked with new condos being listed by sellers who have decided to sell after final closing. Many of these are vacant condos that nobody has ever lived in. They seem sparse, empty and lacking in character. A vacant condo rarely sells as quickly and for as much money as a strategically staged one.
