    The Countryside Comes to Downtown.

Those are fabulous pictures of fruit, vegetables, and other products sold by vendors.

There’s no need to get out of town for the weekend to experience a little bit of the countryside, when there’s farmers markets like this one, at a parking lot in the middle of Liberty Village, in downtown Toronto. Visitors to the market, which happens on Sundays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM from the beginning of June to the end of October, get the opportunity to sample and savour, as well as shop for farm-grown produce and other great merchandise, which varies with the seasons. They may also be entertained by buskers singing and /or playing instruments – with the most popular being accoustic guitarists playing and singing their favourite folk songs.
